Times have changed so much this last 150 years: we are now so “clever” in that time frame that, like a yeast culture in a petri-dish, we are at the limit of the capacity of the “medium” in which we live, earth, to continue to support our exponentially increasing population (with exponentially increasing demands of each individual within that). We have managed to get ourselves to this state of affairs by “bending over backwards” exploiting every possible contingency space that left to “nature” alone would not have been “tolerated”. “Go forth and multiply” has over-reached its sell-by date, as has increasing individual demands on finite resources ceased to be “progress”. Kid yourself not.

Because of what we have now assimilated thanks to the research of various brilliant minds, which we have then utilised to assist us ease the burdens of day to day living, we are now at a point of maturity where most of us most of the time need to face up to the responsibility of the knowledge that we have and the possibilities / new ground “dimension” that has allowed us to move into. In short now is the time to “grow up” as a species. We need right now to appreciate how the universe works, starting with the fact it was doing very well for billions of years before ever we decided to try to “take over”. And for a thorough appreciation of that essential aspect of this that I am trying to get across, we need the around 50% of America to stop being “in denial”, and I rather suspect quite a high proportion of Moslems and possibly just as large a proportion of Catholics, both of whom have been on the receiving end of great disservice by “recent” common practice of their religions, that has, through the expedient of fear done the very opposite to their minds from the original intent.

So hopefully I have covered the issue, the flaw, in not so much the entropy law itself, but the interpretation of it thanks to the immaturity of the minds of man, at that time (and since, until now, when you all assimilate this). As a reminder, the extrapolation / assumptions, model, developed from it do not coincide in the slightest with the universe we experience, which is made evident by the rest of science (under science list the things I mean).

Once the entropy law is relegated to its proper place as just one side of a coin, not only can we indeed welcome back the notion of “infinity” or “eternity” (without the “whole truth” of which the entropy law is an essential half, as I will shortly explain, all we had to eventually look forward to was “heat death” as above) the entropy law itself will attain a new “grandeur” as it will actually describe part of the creative process, unlike, as it has been standing, in glorious isolation, describe / predict the mechanisms of the “inadvertent” total self-destruction of the universe (and thus annihilation / loss of infinity / eternity). At the same time, by taking away the “heat death” model of where we are all heading (which is a feeling we have even if we have never heard of the entropy law) we can then optimistically consider the time line
